MDC in 2016 CIFTIS
The 4th China Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) opened from 28th May to 1st June in China National Convention Center. CIFTIS is the only International and Integrated trading and services platform in the world. CIFTIS was started from 2012 and hold at Beijing every year. This year China Society for World Trade Organization Studies (CWTO) initiated the event with the theme “The Innovation and Development of International Cultural Service Trading”, included “First Exhibition of Major National Culture Enterprises , Projects and International Cultural Creative Fair”, the new series of activities became the highlights of CIFTIS – “Cultural services trading sector”.
Macau Design Centre is the first integrated services platform to promote Macau design development, in addition to providing services related to design and resources integration for locals, encourage and assist local designers to expand overseas market. In the past one year, MDC have cooperated with different organization in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Netherlands and Portuguese-speaking countries, keep on searching different chances and build up the network for the local design companies. Following the participation on the fairs in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Mainland China etc., this year MDC was invited by Macao Chamber of Commerce of Culture and Art Industry to join the “First Exhibition of Major National Culture Enterprises and Projects and International Cultural Creative Fair”.
This year, CIFTIS had more than 100 countries and 100,000 people from services trading area with more than 3746 corporations and companies to participate, which covered 20 best countries and regions provided global trade in services and provide their Investment Information and created new channels for domestic and foreign services market.
Macau Design Centre has selected some creative products from My Good Goods creative store to join the CIFTIS, and we have made a short video to introduce our centre and the design service of our studios. The purpose to participate in this fair is to introduce the development of Macau design and seek for opportunity to cooperate with domestic and global cooperates.
