On the 26th of May, 2017 at 3:00 pm, the Briefing of the 2017 Taiwan International Student Design Competition and TEDA Cup International Youth Design Competition will be held at the Macau Design Centre. All schools and individual students are welcome to join this event for free, please register in the ONLINE FORM.

INTRODUCTION

Taiwan International Student Design Competition
The largest student design competition worldwide, gathering the works of expression of creative design themes in order to encourage international creative design exchange for students and to explore and develop the talented new generation of creative design. “Opportunity” is the theme for this year’s competition, inspired by the integration of resources to create value in the face of challenges and limited opportunities. The competition is divided into 4 categories: product design, visual design, digital animation and brand specified. Total prize money is up to US$160,000. Registration is available from the 1st of June, 2017 to the 25th of July, 2017, no registration and presentation fee.

2017 TEDA Cup Youth Creative Design Competition
This year, 2017, the theme of TEDA Cup is “Opportunity”. The competition is divided into 3 categories: product design, digital animation and visual design. Compared with the previous competitions, the 2017 TEDA Cup has been promoted to “Global”, with special awards from partner designers assocaitions, becoming more professional and international. In 2015, Professor Apex Lin, an exceptionally acclaimed designer from Taiwan, formally authorized this contest as the “Taiwan International Student Design Competition”.
