Macau Designers Association holds the scheme of cultivating design talents in cross straits, 2015 strategic lecture and training camp of participation in international design competition. This activity holds at 9:30-18:00 in Macau Design Center on Nov,22-23 , 2014. Macau designers association is the host of this activity and the co-organizer is Macau design Center. The activityis subsidized by Cultural Affairs Bureau of Macau government.
The scheme of cultivating design talents in cross straits starts from 2013, promoting youths in cross straits to participate international design competitions such as provides high bounty for participation, assistance to competition, professional training and publicity for package. Designers can display their talents in design arena and it offers an international exchange opportunity. This activity cooperates with the scheme of cultivating design talents in cross straits, inviting renowned designersLin Pang-soong (Taiwan), Yu Ming-Lung(Taiwan), Ko Hong (Hong Kong) and TangYenKen(Shen Zheng) and Bob Lei (Macau) to hold lectures and training camps within two days in Macau Design Center. Lecturers not only share their experience, but also conduct learners for creative works in training camp. It includes personal critique and discussion.
In the lecture, lecturers disclose secrets for participation in international design competition, including introduction of awards, analysis of the style in awards, judging procedure, schedule planning, direction for participation, inducing ideas and constructing design picture in competition. The lecturersinduce participants with profound knowledge in design, so that they gradually step into international design awards in shortcut.Horizon of international judging, criteria and crucial viewpoint for participantsare provided to learners. Learners can gain an insight into the systemin competition, planning of participation in detail and management of program. They repeatedly probe into amendment for construction of design concept and drawing. Participants in this lecture can exert their fantastic creativity in design and possess ability of logical analysis, so that their creativity and works are more perfect.
